Right you should be. This is wonderful gesture for any teenager to make, but from the (admittedly) little I know of Aspergers Syndrome, one characteristic can be an inability or difficulty with empathy. To have grasped the situation of total strangers in need is awesome.

As another poster put it, kudos for "raising a son with such a beautiful mind".
