I am trying to stay calm, but I am also trying to do something about my situation. Nothing will happen if I don't take positive, pro-active steps in the right direction.

you do have that right!

don't stop posting. Others can learn by what you are going thru.

Getting advise from dozens of people, some with conflicting opinions can be confusing.

sell the house, don't sell the house. sell the car, rent a car, etc.

Trying to acknowledge them all can lead to misunderstandings....of course, not acknowledging them can cause people to think your not listening. Catch 22

You've taken some great first steps, and from the sounds of it are now considering to take others. I for one, am glad you're taking some time and considering the house and car carefully.

to me, you sound alot more "in control" today than you did the first day you started posting.

Not using the CC's, getting a budget, and taking some extra clothes to the consignment store are great first steps, IMHO!

Keep up the good work! And post some updates!

Jean
