I bet he would have just stayed in his car like the police asked him to
WHERE does this false meme keep coming from? Is it one of the daily talking points distributed by one of the 'community organizing' daily emails???

The police did not tell him not to pursue... the 911 operator (*NOT* a Cop, or agent of the police) did *NOT* tell him not to pursue.

When Z said he was following, she said;
"OK..."
"We don't need you to do that."
<emphasis added>

That's simply a statement of their own capabilities... not anything remotely approaching a request, or even a suggestion, let alone a command.

The dispatcher did *NOT* say;
'Don't do that' nor
'We don't *WANT* you to do that' nor
'Stop following now' nor
'OK, stop immediately.'

Nothing even CLOSE to that!
