All,

Any speculation as to whether it would be better to buy i-bonds this month or in november when the rates change? not that 6 months makes much of a difference, but i've been buying i-bonds over the last few years as a short term investment for when my wife and i start a family. the way i look at is that i'll take any advantage i can get even if it's a nonimal one. at any rate, i'm particularly curious if anyone has any information regarding the inflation-adjusted component of the interest rate, because i doubt the fixed rate portion is moving very much in either direction. Thanks in advance!
