I bought a Troy-Built mulching mower at Sears that I have been very happy with. Self propelled with chain drive to front wheels. This helps when you do a U-turn. I just lift the front wheels up off the ground as I pivot. No messing with a bag is great and the clippings just disappear. The mowing height adjusts by twisting a handle on the deck. Always starts on at least the second pull. Mine has a 5 HP B&S that is about the minimum I would want to have. I have used a 4.5 HP and it bogged down in thick areas of my lawn. My neighbor borrowed it when his was in the shop and he went out and bought one just like it. I would like for it to go a tad faster - been thinking about putting larger wheels on it, but don't think they would fit. The personal pace option would be nice.
