I bought some DHI last August when all the doom and gloom was rampant and I'm thinking maybe it's about time to add. I liked Horton because it was low end and probably would be less affected by recessions (new marrieds need a place to live.) I also picked up some TOL for the opposite reason: they are luxury builders and those folks don't worry about recessions either. Maybe a little more speculative but also smart play is Desamolladora Homex (HXM) the Mexican builder that has, among other things, demographics and the Mexican government as wind in their sails.

Anyone else thinking along these lines?
