I bring a portable-sized bottle of water from home. Drink it on the plane, it's lighter to carry. When I get to my destination, I buy, at the grocery, when I'm getting breakfast and stuff, a big jug of water. Then I keep filling my portable bottle from the jug. Usually the jug is about the same price as one of the teeny bottles in my room.

I have a phone account at an 800 number (, actually) and make only 800 number calls. I can check on my family for like 3 cents a minute, from the US or Canada.

Likewise, will post more as I think of 'em.
