I can do without the venison, but a jar or two of venison jerky would do me fine, in fact I think I have the whole carcass made into jerky, actually the local butcher is glad to trade, toss in some cash... Great for campouts, etc...

Middle brother is a commercial fisherman up the coast, so more than a few salmon or the end product smoked salmon has crossed my doorway... Crab license he sold, paid for his next boat.. So now salmon, or working on someone else's boat.. Used to go for rockfish, redtail perch, surf smelt myself, still have the last net Dad made, but I gave away all my salt and freshwater gear, maybe a Penn reel or two still around.. Shark/Stingray derbies, Striper derbies, we did our share, moved on...

Plenty to do without chasing a critter down... Rather do photography, techy things...
