I can say that I am in the 28% tax bracket, have 2 allowances on my W4, and that 19.63% of every paycheck I get is witheld for federal taxes.

What are the income boundries for the 28% tax bracket anyhow?

$27,050 to $65,550

What about bonuses and other special checks? They can be withheld at a flat rate, higher than your average paycheck. Also, contributing to a deductible IRA would affect taxes. You probably thought of those though.
