I can't find any information on thinkorswim's site about the interest they'll pay on you cash balance.

I don't recall the amount, but it's not a lot.

But what of it? If you have money that will sit for a few weeks or so, buy a money market fund. I buy Vanguard's MMF commission-free on TOS.

Also, when I signed up, they said it was a recommended minimum of $3500. But the FAQ says that amount is THE minimum.

Donno, but you can chat with the help staff online during market hours. Perhaps they'd make an exception if you have prospects of adding money later on.
