I caught a piece of that conversation, MC. Let me put this into my terms...In theoretical physics scientists publish papers all the time. They study simulations, models, etc, and often make predictions (in fact, usually make predictions). Then the experimentalist comes along and runs the experiment. If the result isn't what was predicted, the theoretical physicist is left to figure out where he went wrong.Same for you and your studies. They tried it. It didn't work. I don't care what the theory said, it was wrong and needs to be fixed (or tossed).Period.This is a hilarious bunch of malarkey.
