I collect baseball memorabilia. Been doing it for almost 30 years. My focus has been the Hall of Fame. The goal has been to get some piece of memorabilia for every person in the Hall of Fame from the period they were active.

Don't get me started on Negro Leaguers. I love those guys but when it comes to Negro League material, it's like Bob Dylan said "black is the color where none is the number..."

Admitting another 19th Century guy to the HOF, no matter how deserving, is also a bummer for us collectors. Know how much those Old Judge tobacco cards go for these days? Sheeesh, back in the day I got Orator O'Rourke for $60. Now? Forgetaboutit.

Still trying to find an Amos Rusie for under $5K. Now I gotta chase Decon White too. Oh, well....
