I consider massive day-trading a rock-solid market top indicator (one of the very best). Given that so many day-traders have given up the ghost, I believe the market has a long ways to go (either up or down at this point). If I ever see the manic trading days that I witnessed in 1999/2000, I'll sell all my holdings, short the market...and bask in my windfall financial security.
