I could only bear to watch the first half of the Maryland-Miami game. It was awful. I am a sad turtle this week.

Like you said, Maryland only manged 14 points in the first half, but it's not like Miami was exactly setting the nets on fire with their 19 points. Bad shots, unforced turnovers, and missed free throws for everyone. Both teams played good (not outstanding) defense. It was more a case of sloppy play and a lack of offensive execution for both teams than anything notable about either team's defense.
