I didn't really even think of BuyandHold as a broker. I suppose it is, but a limited one. They do have a company list you have to choose from. I still can't recommend them for companies like INTC, but I do like the educational concept. I wish my parents had done something like that when I was younger! As for the other topic, I found this board in a search for a board that dealt specifically with synthetic DRIPs. As far as I can tell, there isn't one. I set up a board called "Hail to the DRIPers!", but it is basically a lot of useless posts by me so far. I think this could be an excellent board. There are a lot of people who don't have a ton of money, and would like to invest but simply don't know how. Finding the Fool is the best thing that could happen to these people. Finding DRIPs would be the next best thing. There are all sorts of issues to address relating to investing on a budget. How much investing is TOO much for an investor in our shoes? What types of invesments are possible? What goals could we realistically acheive?I'm a college student who works 29 hours a week, pays outrageous rent, and who just put $300 of books onto his credit card. There are THOUSANDS of people out there who are in my same financial state, or worse. I have a very meager portfolio, but it's something. At least I can say I'm on the moneymaking train we call the Stock Market. Hopefully this board, and others like it, will help others get onto that train, and ride it all the way to financial security.Fool on!Mike
