I do believe that global warming or global climate change is probably real but I don't think that humankind has the collective will to do anything about it. No one is willing to make any real sacrifices. No one is going to give up their cars, warm and air conditioned TV's, refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters, quit eating meat, etc. to change anything.... Hell people who believe in global warming/climate change are still getting on airplanes and boats and traveling all over the world? They are only willing to pay it lip service.Well . . . that's kinda silly. You believe that a person is not willing to do anything to reduce their carbon footprint unless they stop driving, traveling on boats or airplanes, and using any electricity. I don't even understand your "eat meat" comment. So in your mind the only way for a person to do more than pay lip service to global warming is to live in a mud hut and survive from collecting roots and berries. Honestly, Art, I think there is a middle ground. Many people do modify their behavior to reduce their carbon footprint without becoming cave men. And it has had an impact to reduce the demand for carbon based fuel. The impact is not enough to reverse the trend yet, but it has slowed.I don't want to use disappointing progress as an excuse to stop trying.
