I don't know what a process cheese is, but I know what to feed one with.

casein |ka'sen, 'kase?n|
noun
the main protein present in milk and (in coagulated form) in cheese. It is used in processed foods and in adhesives, paints, and other industrial products.

A friend of mine used to import casein to make cheese for cheeseburgers. He told me that only casein extracted from milk is allowed to be used. Apparently casein can be extracted from other parts of the cow or is not food quality for some other reason.
