****I don't care. I am a falliable human. If they can't understand that, then I'm not really concerned. That is THEIR problem, not mine.

I'm a parent.

**Yep. So what? Do I have that right?

I'm a teacher.

**Yep. So what? Do I have that right?

I'm a person with BP2.

**Yep. So what? The question is, 'am I doing my job right?'

**Both of my principals thinks so. I have been observed by my main principal at least 5 times this year . . . she always had good feedback for me.

If you were my kid's teacher, and I came across almost anything you've said here about your marital issues and given how you react to people, I'd be in the principal's office pulling my kid from your class, if not the school completely.

**Really? Your choice. Whatever. Can teachers not have mental illnesses that are treatable? What about if your teacher's kid had diabetes or high blood pressure or depression? What if a teacher is going through a divorce or is in a bad marriage? That happens every year. What if a teachers finances are in a mess? That happens every year. We are no different from other people. It is called DIVERSITY.

BP2 is treatable. It is not contagious and my boss knows I have it and she keeps a close eye on me. Never once this year has she given me anything but positive reviews. She has watched me and formally evaluated me with at least 5 classes this year. No complaints. Lots of positive feedback. It is all in writing.

If you were my colleague, I'd be very concerned and keeping a close eye on you.

**I get along fine with my peers.

At the moment, you do not seem stable enough to be in the classroom.

**Who are you to make such a harsh judgement? Have you ever sat down and talked with me? People tend to type a lot different on forums then they talk in person.

**It is attitudes such as yours that causes mental illnesses to still be stigmatized. Sad deal. You, of all people, should know better.
