I don't ever use ATMs. If the merchant will not take my check, then they do not get my business - simple as that! I do not have a debit card, sometimes the float is useful in an interest bearing checking account.

Aha, so you're the person taking ten minutes to make out a check in front of me in the express check out at the grocery store...


That's not me. Cash in hand, as I know before reaching the casher approximately what the total will be. CASH, not ATM, not CC, and not Checks.

One of my better decisions was to go to CASH, in all transactions possible, about 2-years ago.
