I don't know about you, but for me to take a $70K a year draw, I'd like my investment portfolio to be worth AT LEAST $1.75M. That would be the 100% safe withdrawal rate of 4% over a 30 year period.To retire at 65, you'd better count on a withdrawal period of AT LEAST 25 years.
