I don't know anything in particular pro or con. But I know that the quality of the ingredients and manufacture are critical. I get most of my supplements from iHerb.com for better prices. I really respect Life Extension, Rainbow Light, New Chapter, Jarrow, Source Naturals, Carlson. But it also depends on the particular item. For fish oil, for example, Minami is the only one I'll use. Some items I get from epicrhealth.com. There products are all pharmaceutical grade, and they look for products that are particularly absorable, etc. I get my C,D, carnosine, and a magnesium from them. The only vitamin E I'll take is the one made by Designs for Health, because their formulation and ratio are the best, and unique. But I google around to see who has the best price. I get my CoQ10 from Solanova.com. They sell the most bioavailable type of formulation, and although epic4health has that one too, and the prices are very close, Solanova allows you to buy in bulk and the savings is huge.
Probably a lot more than you wanted to know!! ;-)
