I don't know what your commission costs are, but I'd be pretty serious about watching them. If I understand your plan correctly, it involves 36 commissions per year (3 a month for 12 months). That seems to me a lot. I'd really try to get that down. Maybe you could pick the best one or two investments out of the three newsletters each month and go with them(?) That would get the trades down to 12 to 24 per year. My own commissions are less than 1% of the amount invested. (Actually, about a third of a per cent.)
