But I've got a lot of respect for Marilyn Cohen's understanding of how bond-investing could be done. However, if you're a 'small investor', meaning, if you're managing less than $1 million in bonds, then you're probably too small of an account to benefit from her advice. In other words, position-sizing is far more important to fixed-income risk-management than credit-quality, and she makes her recommendations with the assumption that the investor will have at least $1 million to work with.
