I expect a Dem slaughter at the polls next Novemeber.

November 2010 is a long way away compared to the attention span and political memory half-life of the typical American voter.

But, it could be bad for the Dems if they don't get their act together soon. The GOP has decided to become the obstructionist Party. Their strategy is to "just say 'no'." The Dems should be able to steam roll over them and pass meaningful legislation. Instead, some Dems seem not to have figured out there is no value to trying to work with the obstructionist, some Dems seem to think that if the obstructionist strategy is good enough for the GOP, it's good enough for them, and some seem to be busy playing with themselves. If Dem politicians don't realize that people expect them to do something with the political gains they gave them in the last election, they will lose big in 2010. And... they will deserve to.

Unfortunately for the American people, big losses for Dems means that the even more pathetic political Party gets more power.
