I feel very, very sorry for these United employees. But, maybe this company should be out of business. If they can't carry themselves, perhaps there isn't a real need for their service??

I made a choice when I started working for my employer over 30 years ago. Not consciously at the time, but whatever. I work for a company that never has had pensions. Big mistake on my part looking back? Who knows. But, I don't think it is the responsibility of MY tax dollars to make up the gap for a big company like United (whose execs are still raking in the almighty dollar)and allow them to stiff their employees. But, what do I know? I'm not a big time politician or a fancy schmancy lawyer, or a judge.
