I figure a cell phone bill is about $40 a month, probably more nowadays with all those smart phone things, at $40 a month i've saved over $5000 over 10 years. I guess if i traveled more it would possibly be worth it, but i'm home most of the time.

What does your home phone cost per month?

Ahhh, i see what you're getting at, but most people i know have a cell phone in addition to the land line. I've thought about making a switch before, but i haven't pulled the trigger because it meant dealing with the cable company and a cell phone company, and those places are full of, you know, people.
