I find it interesting that people who would never consider giving any of their money to a total stranger they meet on the street will give their money if that same stranger approaches them wearing a 3 piece suit and waving a bunch of business cards that say "Certified Financial Planner" or "Stockbroker".
Although I'm no pro(quite the contrary), I've always lived with the opinion that "Stockbrokers" are simply used car salesmen that made it big. Sorry to all the stockbrokers I've offended.
