I find this a bit suspicious. I understand that catchers are more susceptible to concussions than other position players. Position players may literally have less than a handful of head collisions in their entire playing days. Catchers may have a small handful from home plate collisions.

This completely pales in comparison to football players who not only suffer dozens of concussions in their entire playing career, but suffer hundreds, if not thousands upon thousands of head collisions that may not rise to losing consciousness, but nevertheless are additive to mental trauma.

And if you have so many football players who have played football from middle school through the NFL for 25 years, and are still mentally intact for the most part.....

And the claim now is that baseball catchers from their few collisions are suffering from CTE....I find it hard to believe.

Like the NFL, it's a cash grab. Don't get me wrong, some may be legitimately hurt...a small population....but much more are simply wanting a slice of the cash pie.
