I forgot to mention that last month I had gone in to look at a Prius and the guy at Toyota did all he could not to laugh at me for asking if they have any on the lot I could look at.

He sat me down and told me there was an 18 month wait list...and that's just for a 2004. They will be "sold out" of thos in 5-6 weeks and then will start the wait list for the 2005s which won't start until the 2004 wait list is cleared out.

I said "I guess you guys REALLY dont wan't to sell me a car" and left. It would be fun to have a Prius, but not that fun. 18 months from now there will probably be more selection of Hybrid cars which are cheaper and more effecient. Just my opinion.
