I found a really nice pair of stylish sunglasses for $10 (a nice strong frame) and the local optician was able to put lenses in them for me.

Saved a bundle and still wearing them 4+ years later.

Also found some name brand frames at a sample sale in NYC a few years back. Did the same thing.

Note: Oftentimes you will not get the greatest deal on the cost of lenses when you bring in an existing frames. They make their greatest profit on the frames.
