I generalized the whole Charlotte. I was in the University area and it is depressed there. I sold my house right off of WT Harris, in between 77 and 85, 1 mile from the 85, after keeping it for ten years, for a gain in price of 12%; taking out selling expenses and preparing the house for the market, I lost money. The house is in a good neighborhood.
Houses in South have gone up. Also, because the houses south of charlotte are priced much higher, people moved further south to Rock Hill..plus to save on taxes.
