I got a prescription for Ambien from my Doctor that helps in the far end when I actually go to sleep, but I still get up for awhile like I did without the pill. Crazy! Anyone else have this type of problem?

You might try taking the Ambien earlier -- if you're going to bed at 11, take the Ambien at 10 or 10:30. And you might talk to your doctor; if you're taking 5mg, perhaps he/she would prescribe 10 mg. However, it seems to become ineffective if used regularly.
