I got stuck once doing a going-away party at the office. At the start of the process I announced that the first person who complained about anything was in charge of the next one. It was an indoor record for that crowd. We got within 30 minutes of the end of the gathering before someone slipped up and griped.

This made me think of my father. He died three years ago and in his will he specified that each of us four (grown) children was to receive 25% of his property, but that anyone who complained about this division would instead receive the sum of $1 with the remainder of the property to be equally divided among the others.
