Well, I don't have to, but I would like to - It's a monthly meeting/dinner with friends and classmates I grew up with.
This is the theme:
Happy Thursday All!
It's time to get started...you have less than seven weeks to comb through your closets and storage spaces for that "perfect" White Elephant for the gift exchange. Find it, wrap it and bring it along...last year's event was funny and fun...and we're sure to top it this year! Don't forget, we're expecting a wrapped gift from each of you...wonder who will capture the treasure of the season?! Rules of the game will be explained that night (in case you've forgotten).
WHO: Any '67 Graduate AND spouses and friends of '67 grads.
WHAT: Collinsville Dining Conclave (CDC) Dinner
WHEN: December 5, 2012 at 6:30pm - $8.00 per person
WHERE: Camelot Bowl in Collinsville
WHY: Because it's more fun than the law allows!
As always, please tell any classmate you see or speak with about the CDC and invite them to join you. Also, kindly let me know that you're planning to attend so that we'll be sure to have enough food and desserts!
Thanks...
My thoughts are, "That's kind of lame." I don't want to give something I don't want - The person or couple receiving it probably wouldn't want it either. I would rather give something someone *might* like... These are my thoughts, so far:

I doubt anyone will spend a lot, or give up a lot that they like a lot. I'd rather give something that someone will/might like than throw something in that is near totally useless.
Any idea?
Thanks, Bob
