I guess I don't follow why the distinction on the next day is so critical. I don't have any problem immediately calling it an 'act of terror', and when it's certain all the available facts have been assessed then a more precise term can be used. Likewise, I thought it silly the administration's spokespeople early on seemed so certain of what had been the cause of the attack. Frankly, it's a relief from how 'terrorism' was so overused by the previous administration. Less talk, more action, is fine with me.
