I had a lawyer friend of mine call the agent on Tuesday and the agent admitted to:

1) not letting me put in a bid by telling me it was sold
2) not knowing when or if the purchase agreement was signed
3) calling a "client" right after he showed us the house

the agent also said that he thought I was not interested in the house because it would have taken some work to fix it up.

My lawyer friend is not an expert in this area and has not gotten back to me on what I should do.

Thanks for all the help,
