I had an incredibly reliable Acura Integra with 130K miles that I sold last year, not because of any problem, but because I wanted a heavier/safer car and I thought an automatic (rather than a stick, which it was) would be more practical for my new, long commute in traffic. It was a gem of a car.

My current Volvo S40 with 145K miles drives well, but is expensive to fix. I like driving it as much as I could like driving any automatic car (mehhh...not as fun as stick), and it's solid and reliable. But whn it has had issues (it does have 145K miles after all), it's pricier to deal with than the Acura.
