I had the same question - they must be doing a marketing push.

Here is a response from the TMF forums you may have seen. It is in answer to the exact same question, six years ago.

My read on the response is that it works fine if you already know what you're doing. To say the same thing a different way, if you need it as a time saving device it works well. If you need it to tell you when to buy/sell, not so much.

It would be interesting to hear the experience of someone who has used it more recently. It must have changed somewhat since 2006, I'd hope.
