I had yet to delete this board and was surprised to see it come up on my screen. As to Clark for VP -- the idea probably has some merit.
1 He is a southerner, which would help.
2 Having a general running with another war veteran would be a plus on a lot of current foreign policy issues.
3.He is genuinely smart and capable of handling many issues independently like Gore did for Clinton. (When they were in office.)

But there are probably more than a few people hoping to get the nod from John Kerry. Whether or not Clark will help him the most is something that he will need to calculate. Edwards is a southerner and immensly likable, which would really help reach many independents who are not passionate about either candidate.

Clark was my first choice but I'm all for Kerry now.

regards, Joe
