I hadn't given too much thought to this until this evening. The house we bought in the early '80s was in a small development nestled between a cemetary and a public park! In addition, the land the development was constructed on was a de-dedicated cemetary. Plots had been sold but the place went under (sorry about that) because not enough lots were sold. No one was ever buried there.I know some people would not buy a home next to a cemetary let alone on top of one. But you could not find a quieter neighborhood and nobody was going to put up a megastore nearby. Worked out very well when we sold it five years ago.Best,Ken, Fool
