I've gotten done with today's errands and was in the mood for some soothing meditation sounds. I'm partial to oceans sounds and rain forest stuff. I ran through a few "free" options on-line but they were just two minute snippets to get you to download a full version. I'm in touch with my Inner Reichert, so I went to youtube in hopes of finding free stuff.

The snippets played okay, but nothing works sound-wise on youtube. The volume on IE is fine, but the System Sounds and Speakers volume level thingees don't move.

I was hoping to relax for a bit and tune out all of the evil caused by the Koch Brothers and the Bush Tax Cuts for the Rich for a few minutes, but woe (there's that word again) is me.

I may just have to settle for reading about Art and CC going back and forth about the afterlife instead.

Woeful. Just utterly woeful.

I often fall asleep to these unique orchestral sounds.

Here's a YouTube downloader. (This one's for a Mac; I'm sure they make one for a PC.)

My wife has bought a couple of those sound machines at yard sales for like $2.00/each. They both work. I like the sound on the one that is shaped sort of like a Bose radio (it's not Bose).

My favorite sound is the ocean wave sounds. It also has rainforest, brook, etc.
