I hated him. He was not only bad for baseball, he was a bad influence on the entire business of sports through his union activities. The only good thing he did was get rid of the reserve clause. Otherwise he made sports more expensive for the fans and ruined our fun through introducing work stoppages to sports. Now we have way too many people in sports who give way more of a damn about themselves and their bottom lines than they do about their sports and the fans. All thanks to Marvin Miller. An evil man if I ever heard of one.
