I have a dead 35 inch Mitsubishi....... siting in the nook in the living room. Weighs like 120 lbs..... Haven't figured out how to get rid of it yet.....the town wants $20 if you haul it to their disposal facility to dispose of it..and you have to take it there the one Saturday a month they are open..and pay them money to take it. That's what you have to do, then. (You might find an office-supply chain store that will take it. One of them does take old electronics, not sure about old TVs. I forget which one, and haven't a clue about fees, but at least they are open more hours.)Even if it worked - most charities won't accept tube TVs/monitors any more.
