I have a Subzero that came with the house(we bought it in 1996) - they last and are easier to fix than other refrigerators. The house was built in 1978 and we were the second owners but I don't know if it's the original refrigerator or not. (When we moved in, I was much more concerned about replacing the built in Amana Radarange with actual push buttons).

We could have this morph into a thread about styrofoam coolers but I will also say that replacing the dishwasher with a Bosch was a great move because of the proximity of the kitchen to the living area - it was so quiet, I had to put my hand on it to know it if was running or not. And yup, it is more expensive than a dishpan and generic Dawn.
