I have been a Weight Watcher for just over a year. I lost 55 lbs and am still losing. When I follow the program religiously, it is the best program there is. While I have been in a bit of a plateau lately, I continue to go to the meetings, as I leave there entirely energized and ready to get back in gear. I agree with an earlier post that the leader can make all the difference. While they are all good, and know the material (and must be a lifetime member at their goal in order to become a leader) different personalities work better for each of us. I do not feel (for me) that I would be as successful without the support of the group at the meetings. There are several of us that have been going about the same length of time, and have lost at least 2 people in weight! We help motivate each other, and it has helped me develop some super friends (as well as eating/lifestyle habits). On the other hand, I have a co-worker who has done well on the "at home" program, with her husband. Additionally, if you read any kind of reviews of different diet programs, Weight Watchers ALWAYS comes out on top as the healthiest and most successful method of weight loss and maintenance. Good Luck ! You can do it !
