..I have been divorced for 25 years. A part of the settlement with my Ex was to get our townhouse, she would assume the loan, and I would guarantee the loan (30 yrs). ...

25 years ago the mortgage rates were in the ballpark of 10%.

I would think that there is a high probability that she paid off the mortgage or refinanced it years or decades ago and you just didn't hear about it.

If this was a normal mortgage that still has your name on it then it should show up on your free credit report if the loan still exists.

Some counties have a lot of the property records on line and they are public information so you might be able to find out if there is still a that mortgage lien on the property by checking that online.
