I have been following BSX for some time now. I was very interested in your post. When you say "none of it sounds good", do you mean from the employees' or stockholders' viewpoint? I assume you are located in Massachusetts.

Yahoo has the most active BSX message board on the net and there have been posts regarding major plant consolidations and the moving of manufacturing, I believe, to Ireland. Also over the past few months there has been much speculation that BSX has been negotiating terms of a merger/buyout by a larger entity some rumored were: JNJ and Tyco.

Is any of this consistant with what you are hearing and/or seeing?

A reply would be greatly appreciated.
