I have honestly never settled into anything specific which has turned into a, seemingly, endless effort to find the "best" running gear available.

I'm not very picky when it comes to shirts. I mainly aim for what I can find on sale and have ended up with a closet full of Asics, Nike, Reebok, and UA shirts. All technical, with very little favoritism towards a particular brand.

Shorts are a different story. I love my UA shorts I bought a few years ago, on clearance, only to never be able to find the style in my size again. Second would be the Asics basic running short. I generally look for a 6" inseam, without pockets, and a brief liner. Can't stand the couple pair of "legging" liner UA's and Nike's I have.

I've tried so many different brands of socks it isn't funny. This tireless effort bore fruit and I have settled into the Asics Kayano socks. While pricey, they're very comfortable and breathe extremely well.
