I have just been sampling this discussion, and I must say I'm very disappointed in the entire tone of it. I may take this board off my favorites. Too bad, it was a good idea.

I don't agree with everything Jeffery says, but I admire his courage in sticking to his beliefs and convictions, and expressing them in a consistent and polite way. I do not admire the defensiveness and personal attacks he has received in response. If you all were as comfortable with your lifestyle, choices, and moral code as Jeffery is, you wouldn't feel so threatened by his statements.

Jeffery tries to live his life in such a way that he is an example to others of the benefits of a Christian life. If you have a different belief system, then your life is an example of the benefits (or detriments) of your own choices. We are all free to accept or reject what others say here. But we should all respect others' rights to express their sincerely held beliefs.
