I have liked the Ullyses from its introduction. Buell seems to keep fixing more of the known problems every year. Unfortunately, Motorcycle Consumer News long term test report listed a number of bothersome quality problems. You don't want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with some of the problems they listed. I still like the bike, but until I see their quality /reliability numbers improve dramatically, I will keep my Yamaha. Several people I know own various Buells and love them, but they admit to having more issues with them then with other brands.

By way of disclosure, I also have to admit a certain weakness for the new Rotax powered bike.
